Wow no medium, hmm that would be less trouble.
My seedlings have stretched a bit as I am getting things ready. Do you know if planting stems, up to the cotyledons, in a flood and drain would harm the stems or will they grow roots? They look like they want to grow roots from the stems already...
So the clay balls don't displace hardly any water? Mine are in pots. And yeah using lots of water to get the level I need.
Yeah cleaning them was shit for sure, I didn't expect that. I read some one once saying they used some sort of enzyme that dissolved the roots then flushed a few times and...
Nice thanks.
Yeah I'm hoping it all goes well, it seems like a good way to grow for sure. I have another question though, do the clay balls displace the amount of water that they are occupying in the table? They soak some water up yes, but they are also taking up space, so if the bag says 45...
There is still some sediment in the water but I can easily see through the water, so I guess that's OK. The ph thing I didn't know so I'll do that.
Thanks for the help guys!
How clean do the expanded clay pebbles have to be in a flood and drain system? This is my first time using them and I keep rinsing but the water is still a bit cloudy, it's no where near as dark as it was, I can see through it but still a bit cloudy. Any info on what problems this might cause if...
Ah you guys are great thanks for the help.
I've looked at amazon feedback for these and 17% give it 1 star. Not saying they aren't what you guys say it is, but it seems there's mixed experiences with them, and some people are saying even when the timer has switched off, there is still 120v...
Hi, off topic but what brand and model is your reliable digital timer? Or anyone else who knows reliable digital timers. I need one but I keep reading reviews of them that arent good, any experience with some good ones would be great.
Thank you!
Hi dell what an incredible thread, just wondering if you're still around?
Have you, or anyone else, ever done white widow 12/12 from seed? If so what were the results like?
Thank you!
Thank you for your help.
I've just read some people talking about needing to add calmag if I am using Hydro nutes for coco. Do you or anyone else know if this is necessary?
I have the aqua vega and flores as I started to do dwc made a mess of it and went back to coco while I sorted it out. But now the nutes im using in coco I don't think are so great, woma basic 1 dry nutes, so I'd like to use canna as that's what I've had experience with in the past but was always...
Hello I've got big jugs of Canna Aqua vega and flores but now have some plants vegging in coco and really would rather not have to buy more nutes, canna A+B for coco. Does anyone have experience with using the aqua vega and flores in coco?
Thank you!
I found some 11cm square pots that are 20 cm deep! 2.4liters volume with at 11 cm square, Nice. I think I'm going to modify a tray to raise the sides to 20 cm, then flood the tray to near the top, defoiliate a bit like 2 weeks into flower then leave them. What do you think of that?
Also I was...
Yeah I get it now, the keeping the coco wet and watering until run off keeps the ec down by stopping salt build up from evaporation. Roger that.
More air to the root system you say?
I've got some aqua vega and aqua flores from attempting dwc, still working on that. could I use the aqua vega...
