Ok first off thanks for all the replies second here are pics of the rez and the problem is I think the rez is sitting same level as the buckets. So putting them on 2x4's should raise up the water so its flowing downhill and can feed more buckets Since the rise is only like 4 inches from the top...

For a new setup that is going to be tested with a 240/g pump problem is using 1/2 inch lines that should of been changed to 1 in as the water level in the rez is always low so this next setup will be with the waterfall method and not feeder lines and a ball valve on the water line to slow down...

5 gallon bucket with a pump and hose should do you fine
