Thanks for the info. Because of time and cost I’m really leaning towards just pulling it out. I’d really hate to but like I said the others don’t have the weak genetics this one does. It definitely needs a certain environment to thrive. I don’t mind being a horticulturist but there needs to be a...
Is that from your experience? They teach you to dilute with soap and wipe off any mildew residue where I’m from. But that’s not efficient in my scenario.
Hey guys. Noticed WPM a week or so back. Slowly creeping around fan leaves closer flower. I’ve tried insecticidal soap and am now trying baking Soda with water, seems to slow it down but hard to stop it completely. I understand you can wipe it off but there’s gotta be several hundred leaves and...
It’s a good idea to defoliate within the veg cycle and maybe at the beginning of flowering if the plant has bushed out again. Right up until the last day or so before harvest I wouldn’t touch any fan leaves that are healthy. Ideally your looking for a good balance, enough for photosynthesis but...
I’d definitely go with the shorter indica hybrid strain. You’re dads is probably almost %100 sativa and wouldn’t give me the high I strive for. Good for hash or oil. I don’t agree that your dads will have bigger buds, if you keep yours well feed which looks like it’s in better shape your harvest...
Spray them with water. The ash will dissolve. If lots of ash in soil your PH will be effected but I don’t believe you’ll have an issue. Ash is actually good for soil just not a lot. Good luck!
Spider mites can be a pain but easily manageable if you have the time. I’d suggest using Safers insecticidal soap. Mix a litre solution at a time and soak your girls in the early morning and late evening when they are most active. Make sure to spray the underside of fan leaves as this is where...
I’d say a week and half of watering with nutrients and then start your flush. Anywhere between 3-4 weeks should be ideal longer if you like a different high. Good luck!
For sure! Keep up with the veg till end of second week of flower. GG does like lots of Nitrogen. A bloom booster helps during the 3-6week flowering period but not necessary. Good luck.
Definitely pre flowers looking to flower! My GG is looking about the same. I wouldn’t switch to bloom supplements for 2 weeks. Pump up the nitrogen and any additives you have. They will stretch for the next week or 2 and the more nutrients right now the better. Good luck!
For a first time grow your plants are looking great. Some strains seem to be entering from pre flower to flower. Within another week you’ll see more flower production and definitely some stretch in height.
Seems like you’ve trimmed up the lower sections nicely to help with air flow. For this...
Right on. Glad they’re growing back even better. I usually trim the underside 6-8 inches up from the soil really heavy so it’s just stalks. Helps air flow and mold once buds get dense. I just starting using some Cannazym to let my roots breath a bit and what a difference over 2 days you can tell...
I’d suggest after all the effort you put in with training do not remove any tops or branches. If this was indoor that’s a different story you can remove majority of the fan leaves off because indoor grows if done right don’t have pests/infestations. The canopy your plant has developed does more...
4 ladies in small 4x6 area. 2x black diamond 1x gorilla glue 1x master kush. Use canna nutrients. Guano dressing. And topping lst. Only my 4th grow, definitely a learning curve.
God bless.
Thanks mate. Those girls look healthy. What strains?
I had to run out to a 2 plant stash today and rip them outta the ground into 7gallon pots. Neighbours kids followed my tracks when I brought hoe out to dig holes in spring.
Guess I’ve learned 1) don’t do your prepping when the grass is...
Feels good to grow Legal. 4 plants in a small 4x6 bed. 2x Black Diamond 1x Master Kush 1x Gorilla Glue. Triple mix/perlite base soil. Using Canna Nutrient line with some Guano top dressed twice a year. Should start first phase of flower within 2 weeks.
How are y’alls outdoor grows looking...
Nope, perlite, the misunderstood mineral. perlite is a form of glass; specifically a volcanic glass that is mined and then heated in big ovens until it 'pops' into a round, white material that's used in seed-starting and potting mixtures to “lighten” the soil, allow more air around the roots...
