I'd go 4x4 tent with a 3x3 ebb and flow tray 9 plants (rooted clones in rockwool cubes) In 6 inch net pots with hydroton. Vegging for about a week mabey 10 days Or do 16 veg for a few days. Either way you will hit right around a pound but 16 might get crowded in a 3x3

You do t necessarily need deep roots but a nice mass of them is good a 15 cut in half would work perfect.
