Yeah I was a little worried about the spread
My cab is 40 inches wide and the light is 20 inches so all three cobs would be right in the middle
thanks for giving me something to think about I need to make my mind up I will order a light this week
Hopefully I'll pick one I'l be happy with...
Just out of curiosity I checked that alibaba link but the lights for sale on that page don't look like any of the ones on bud masters site not as far as I can tell anyways
Great info those se chips sound awesome
I assumed they weren't gen7 bc of the price
Still like that rapidled kit a little more than timbers bc it comes with fan/enclosure and nice driver
When the new vero29s come out that would be an easy upgrade
I really wanted to buy the 200w citizen kit...
So many options these days
I think I'm gonna get two quantum board 90 watt kits as soon as I can preorder
Not a whole lot of power but I should be able to get them nice and close
Yeah I think instead of messing with all the connectors I'll just practice soldering
The driver that comes with the kit is
Mean Well HLG-240H-C2100A
Looks like the max is 119 volt
This way I can just buy the kit and won't need to buy anything else besides a soldering iron
I forgot to ask if they were the newer veros
So you are saying I can hook it up like this :
Driver+------ > cob >molex >wago > -----molex > cob >molex >wago > ----molex > cob >driver-
I could probably figure out the soldering if this won't work
I haven't seen anyone growing with them actually but their cob lights are pretty good price I thought about just going prebuilt>diy
Let me know if u get one of like to know if they work
Never mind I emailed them and this is what they said
So is there any place to buy what I'm looking for ? A 6 inch strand of wire with molex connectors on both ends?
I'll go first
I am wanting to buy this kit
http://www.rapidled.com/vero29-triple-cob-array-kit/
It seems really well priced I'm not sure if these are last generation veros or not either way I know they will perform well
Compared to other kits of the same wattage I don't think the price can...
There are a lot of users great at making these diy lights
Me... Not so much.
I don't want to randomly message people asking for help
I've been reading and researching cob diy for over a year and I'm just now gonna try it out finally
All the tech talk and specs can get confusing
It is...
I want one. Maybe two
When will they be back in stock?
And what's the ppfd come out to in a 2x2 with only one 90w panel??
Sorry if it's in the thread somewhere
