Far red and/or UV-b monos seem to be the only ones used alongside white COBs.
Far red because some people believe/believed that it will further aid the Emerson effect because they think/thought that 3500K Crees or 3000K Crees don't have enough far red themselves, but I seriously doubt that it's...
I used to think Vipar was just the same as Mars.
Seems like the cooling of Vipar panels is way worse resulting in diodes cracking (even sooner than Mars)
And then sometimes you have people pulling somewhat impressive numbers with Mars Hydro only to later learn that he/she added a lot of extra CFL and the gr/watt is actually close to 0.5-0.55
They're probably actually 150 watt panels labeled as 300.
4 150 watt panels + that Vipar is around 35 watts per square foot, the little UFO will add a few extra.
Panels are most certainly rather inefficient so will be tight, they'll most likely flower the plants but don't expect a record yield.
Your Amazon claims.
"Efficiency is 0.89 umol/s/watt."
That means HPS is more efficient than that.
Double ended Gavita has an efficiency of 2 umol s-1 per Watt, so more than twice as efficient as your CFL.
Your products are just glorified CFL, maybe better than standard CFL bulbs but still CFL...
DE HPS is close to 2 times as efficient as CFL.
LED depends, the CXB/Very cobs are much more efficient and have the advantage of a 110-120 degree light angle instead of almost every direction requiring a reflector.
This why CFL need a good reflector.
The LED shines in a 120 degree cone while the CFL radiates light in every direction.
So you get these very low LUX readings.
Results would be closer with a reflector, LED would still win out though.
A big growhouse where they cultivate flowers or fruits or something.
Having a 2400W chip also brings a lot of attention towards them and is basically free publicity
Epiled is generic shitty Chinese light with zero quality control.
Yes on Cree or Bridgelux.
This man did a comparison of his CXA3070 (CXB is upgraded CXA) against generic Chinese "ebay" epileds.

His CXA3070 was twice as...
Of course CFL can't compete any more.
GE brightsticks already outdo CFLs both in efficiency and pretty much equal in cost.
Especially when you have a lucky sale.
Remove the "bulb" it's a great 10 watt light with the little SMDs shining directly downwards.
3-pack (3x10W) is 10 dollar homedepot.
