I like Realstyles his stuff, his diy growlights use the same chips featured in the lights from OpticGrowlights
The 3070 and 3590, the Vero 29 is almost efficient as the Cree chips.
Basically any grow journal featuring Vero 29 / and 3070/3590 chips is applicable to the Optic growlights since...
Cree 3070/3590 and Vero 29 are most popular here.
They're full spectrum cobs that can take quite a high current.(no different bands needed anymore)

Though he made a 400Watt...
Otherwise you should really go with HPS especially if your grow area is 1x1 meter because a 300 watt marshydro (actually 150) is not strong enough for 9+square foot.
A 600 watt HPS is (a lot) cheaper than a LED of equal wattage.
It's not that Mars is that bad, it's that it's more expensive than Vipar despite having no difference in quality most likely.
And for the expense of Mars, I've learned that I can DIY my own cobs with better efficiency.
Anyone bought from leds.de before?

It's not a great bin but I only need 1 right now and the delivery costs are cheaper than Mouser.
Short answer: "no"
Long answer: It will work but it isn't worth 1000-1300 dollars a piece. If you're considering dropping $2K then you should be considering how to do DIY Cree/Vero growlights.
There are a lot of tutorials on this subforum to help you out.
Also a major bad sign is that NextLight...
Blackdog is like 3 dollars per "true watt".
Probably cheap quality LEDs too with questionable lifespan.

200 Watt Cree 3070 (AB bin) for close to 1.5 euro per Watt. (1.7 dollar per Watt I guess)
(DIY will get you close to 1 euro/dollar per watt)
It's...
