Wouldn't try experimenting because constant voltage isn't ideal for LED.
Besides, the Vero 18 does not run at 32V.
It runs at 31.6V at 2100mA, so with a 32V constant voltage power supply it would try to pull more than 2100mA which the supply can't handle...

LEDs are more efficient at lower temps.
Running the led at 55°C will mean it's close to 10% more efficient than it is at 85°C
And why would running a LED cooler and with less current shorten...
24 CXB3590 would be 960-1200 dollars from Kingbrite.
HLG185H-C1400B is 70 euros on mouser which is like 52 pounds, so around 315 pounds added.
That's most of the cost..
How much wattage do currently have in HPS?

This guy sells heatsinks for the UK.
Only 2 profiles but they're good enough with a fan.
Meanwell is Taiwan... which isn't mainland China.
And it's quality.
White leds are a complete spectrum and plants benefit more than just red and blue. Even green light still aids the plant.
"Chip-On-Board (COB) or "Integrated" LEDs are created by placing many low-wattage (typically 0.5W or 1W) LED dies side-by-side on a circuit board. This allows companies to claim very high wattage LEDs, but for example the "50W LEDs" are just 50 1W LEDs side-by-side (or 100 0.5W LEDs). It isn't...
The Chinese sellers are evolving.
Quality COBs are starting to gain traction for growers so now they try to pretend that their limited spectrum is "better"
lol
Wish they'd just sell those empty cases with heatsink and hangers for an easy aesthetic Cree casing.
Because DIY cobs are better for roughly the same price.
Ofcourse Mars works, but so does CFL. High quality LEDs work better, cheaper and longer.
You can grow as much with 90 watts of CXB3590 goodness as you can with "300" 180 watts of Mars Hydro.
And with cobs (+Meanwell drivers) you don't have...
I think the 500 watt Vero 29 will probably work for 48" x 44" "just fine" even during flowering.
Also it seems to be 545 watts. (Power Supply: 42V @ 2.9A ( 4 Power Supply's )
That's 35 watt per square foot or so. That should do fine enough I think
lol 420 is doing censorship and are deleting posts that tell people that COB lightning destroys platinum.
Somehow they aren't banning (yet).
They aren't any different than the people they claim to hate.
They criticize government for lobbying, suppressing the marijuana industry and censorship...
The 183-207lm/W for 3590 is only for the chips that are binned high enough
The effiency depends on what amperage you run the LED cob.
At lower currents like 0.7A the COB will be more efficient than for example the 1.2A test displayed on digikey
Cree has a calculator on their site...

The CMD does 1.9 umol/s per watt...
Remote control is probably the most useless shit for a growlight.
How hard is it to put the dim function and an on/off on the light itself?
Galaxyhydro did it with their old model look alikes.
When I'm going PC grow, the PC is getting either Seoul or Nichia and my dedicated growbox will get Crees so in case one of the companies stops with business I know I have an alternative.
