Why not a 600w with some LEDs? If it were me though id go with the 600.
I have a 3x3 tent with a 600w open wing fixture with some LEDs, an outake fan and a fan blowing over my plants and it does great. 600 will probably give you better quanity and bit better quality. Hope this helps. Good luck
Hey looking good from what i can see. Whats your setup you got? (Lighting, room size, medium, nutes?)
Ive smoked some great white shark before some real stinky stuff. Very pototent. Good luck!
Hey i feel ya, got to do, what you got to do. Yes id say let them grow out a bit more for sure.
Its totally not necessary id think. Once you have the net over you can just tuck the tops growin through under the net so no need to top them. For your first time just try keeping it as simple as...
i agree wait about 2 weeks before tying down. you want them to grow out another 6 inches or so. this way you can spread the tops out farther and create more space for the under growth to get light. if you did it now you plants could bounce back on ya by tomorrow and only have a little separation...
Great thanks alot for the tips, i will be looking into better pots once i get it up and going. Right now alls i have is some round 2 gallon buckets with handles from lowes to test out. Height shouldnt be too much of an issue my tent im using is about 7 foot and my closet is 9 foot.
I dont plan...
I run moonshine mix organic soil. I probably average the same yield in my room with 1 600 and 2-4 plants in there. Hydro definitely ups the yield but just like my super soil too much to try it lol
Hey thanks thats a good idea with the additional LEDs! I had one led in there before specially for flowering but had to take it out because i couldnt reach anymore to move it up. Will get some more for next cycle!
So ive got 2 blue dream going right now in flower. They are in about a 40" by 50" inch closet each in 10 gallons of super soil under a 600 watt HPS. I need to check but they are on around day 40-50 of flower and they look like there gonna be a pretty heavy yield. My last cycle i thought the same...
I use an organic super soil thats very simple. Its called moonshine mix. Alls it is is 3 bags of fox farm soil some more perlite and a cup of happy frog. Will give specifics if wanted
Ok i agree 16 plants is a bit of a stretch in 2 gallons pots but 9 plants thats 1 foot by 1 foot square area for each plant that could easily be achieved. I will have to tune in on the veg time a bit with practice but it should be no problem.
If i vegged and flowered only four plants in this...
