WELP...word to EVERYONE who is thinking of using the ARTIC 11 Fans...DO NOT MIX THE WIRES. POS to POS, NEG to NEG, if you swtich them it will FRY your fan, i just lost 5 fans tonight, i'm simply going to order replacement fans for the ones i have lost and keep it pushing. i know they are fried...

You are absolutely right, which is why I just bought one, and I used 1.2A to drive 4 but made a noob mistake on the V side.

Sorry I ran 3 on a 12v wall charger, so 4v each, it sounds like I fucked up the wall charger. Err imma look for a higher V charger and see what the results are.

There was 4 fans at 12v a piece, totaling 48v, I was using a small wall charger that pushed 12v at 1250mA. I tried each one one at time and none of them are responding, I opened up a new one I had laying and it worked, then I accidentally switched the polarity again, (it's not labeled) now...

OK... So I plugged in a series of 4 artic 11 fans and they all ran, i accidently switched the wires for no more than 4 seconds now None of them are working. Is there a way to recover them??? I don't want to know that I just fried $40 bucks worth of fans from such a stupid mistake.

the more you research the more you will find out, you can either pay an exorbant amount of money for an LED panel, well around $1500+ to compare with an 1000w HPS, OR! you can build one for about $500-$600 cob. sooo you be the judge if you try to spend anything less than a $1000 on an LED panel...

is the cen-100-36 Mean well power supply dimmable, the spreadsheet says no on every site i read, but what int he heck are the two dials for on the driver itself??

High cri boosts the blue spectrum hence why it has lower lumens, and looks brighter visually, but the lower cri boosts the red spectrum (600nm to 700nm) hence why it has higher lumens, a hortilux super hps has a cri of 25!, so have fun man! Just be ready to experience so crazy lumen output.

up did some research on the CRi and higher CRI is better for veg and lower CRI is better for flowring. the change in CRi gives more power to different wavelengths.
