15 yrs ago we lived in a trailer with no septic. Built our first home out of pocket, and every dime of our tax returns. Took 3 years, moved in to it in 04. Used some equity to buy a rental house. Retired from contracting at 40. Bought this place at a foreclosure auction for a steal. Wife's job...
Finished up a 16x30 deck today. Stripped the decking and stairs yesterday and started laying deck boards. Today I finished up.
I feel like I got hit by a truck, my body is so sore.
Oh yeah outdoor girls are doing great.
Only 2 peaks...
Kids now a days... I've paid my dues. I still love building.. but kids today...??
My friends, my habits, my family,
they mean so much to me.
I just don't think that it's right.
I've seen so many ships sail in,
just to head back out again and go off sinking.
He's learning. He takes welding in school and will have several cert's when he's completed.
He has no choice but to learn. He keeps breaking his jeep and he has to help fix it or he can walk.
If he wants a house someday. He better learn how to build.
Kids these days are ether lazy or have been...
Yeah I used to build homes for a living. It definitely helps out greatly to know your trades.
I build my own structures, install boilers, wiring, plumbing and grew up in an automotive garage.
Now I just need to teach my son these trades.
Every 4 ft we drove 2ft 2x4 stakes into the ground then built our walls on top of them. We also didn't have much plastic on our large greenhouse. But we've survived storms just as windy without the greenhouse coming down with it fully covered. It might shred our cover but the frame always wins.
We made it through. Greenhouse is still standing and so is the cold frame.
I haven't checked this morning but last night the plants were still alive.
Friends of ours,up the road, lost their greenhouse. Flipped end over end.
I haven't done gorilla in a long time. But we used to start right after harvest season. We'd scout for days on wheelers for spots. Grain bag up compost, load in the truck, load trailer with wheelers and drop it off out in the woods. (In the middle of the night)
Always had all our stuff in the...
Feels like it's going to rip our house off its foundation or atleast take our roof.
Guess it's better then 3 inches of snow, like Caribou.
Well atleast until the house collapses.
Supposed to have a low in the mid 30's tonight.
The girls are all buttoned up for the night, but I don't have a heater out there. We'll keep our fingers crossed...
Ofcourse every strain we run is a little different. But we've got it down pretty good. The average capsules are 16pills equal 1 gram of hash oil. But we do make hotter batches 10/1, 6/1 we've even made 1/1. (Yes we decarboxylate)
I would recommend experimenting a little before taking the hotter...
Nice looking bubble hash...
Is any one else make hash pills (space capsules)?
We started making them using RSO but have since switched to making them with BHO.
Wow... Getaway is getting it done.....
Looks awesome as always. Can't wait to see what kind of show you and the wife put on this year.
It's going to be awesome...!!
