It will take up nitrates whether or not it "needs" it. Thats why you cut back the N in flower, but you still need some. If you don't cut back the nitrates, you end up with really dark leaves, just more leaves in general and usually end up with leafy buds. Because, like I said, it will uptake...

I pH that low because the nutes I use contain nitrate nitrogen. Plants uptake the nitrates first, whether they need them or not. So, as they do this the pH slowly drifts up in my reservoir. This may very depending on what nutes you are using however. Thats why I start low, so I can drift upwards...

Despite what some people are telling you, keep pHing your nutes. You know as well as I that as soon as you add nutrients to RO water the pH changes quite a bit, usually going much lower. Is there any way you could be overwatering a little?

Quit spreading bad information, and what you're telling the OP is bad information. You don't pH at all? Good for you, don't tell other people no to. My city water is almost 400 ppm, if you know what ppm's are, and the pH is 8.0! Needless to say I use RO water and I pH every time I mix up...

It looks like the dual hose design uses outside air to cool the condenser coils(warm). Then it symply pulls room air through the evaperator coils(cold). Its like recirculation, only cools the already cooler air. Would be most effecient. The other diagram of the single hose looks like it pulls...
