How do you use that stinky stuff? A little bit often, a bunch less often? What works?
I saw a Build A Soil video about some fermented plants extracts they had for sale, and $70 per gallon isn't far off from their prices.
I think red Stems and funky magnesium burns are really Light Stress. Like the dudes new to LED are getting their plants too close to the intense lights.
Red Leaf Stems and Red streaks in stems and branches of healthy plants seem to be a good thing. Under any lights.
The solid red stems and...
Just looking around, it seems like all-in-one fertilizers that are high in K (Jack's, Mega Crop, etc) have like 2-5 times more K than N. That's a big range, but maybe that's useful.
I grow in soil, my last batch had like 19 grams of N amendments and 42 grams of K amendments. So about 2.3-1...
I like Azos for Rapid Rooters when I take clones. The nitrogen fixing bacteria seems to help keep the cuttings nice and green and healthy.
I've used Extreme Mycos putting clones into dirt, or transplanting to bigger pots. Any time the roots are exposed and about to be buried.
Lately I've...
I think you're making up things to get worried about now.
LEDS lights causing higher humidity and slow movement of water through the roots? Who ever heard of that?
If you're worried about airflow, get a little fan set up. Don't sweat soil, you're in a smart pot! It will dry.
What's in your "Super Soil"?
After the NPK, do you have enough of the micronutrients? Do you do anything special to keep your soil microbes active? Or use anything to help make nutrients available to your plants?
The fix might be something simple, like some Rock Dust and Powdered Humic Acid...
That's like, the Cadillac of wetting agents. You can also look for Soapnuts or Aloe flakes if you want to go the natural route.
There are also bottled liquids like Roots Organics "Rain" of Nectra for the Gods "Hygeia's Hydration" if you're into bottles.
For cheap you could use a tiny amount...
White Berry is my favorite for cramps and sore muscles. It's Blueberry crossed with White Widow, so you get the pain killing effect and a really high ceiling.
Sometimes it's called Berry White or Blue Widow.
Sure man, why not!
I do the same thing with "Orca." It's like a lazy way to get some compost/ewc tea going. It should multiply the bacteria and Trichoderma, no question.
The issue is the mycos. In the past, forum dudes said that the spores need to be in contact with the roots, and that...
I don't know man, your plants look good and your buds look chronic.
Maybe the drying process was the issue? That seems like a long time to have to burp after hanging for 2 weeks.
Forum wisdom will say push as hard as you can as fast as possible. Some science dude wrote some paper about the topic. His graphs shows a gradual increase in light intensity for like 5 weeks until you hit full power.
I don't know where this one is from, but it popped up too. 6 weeks to hit...
Be sure to check out their "Trinity" stuff. It's got all the humic/fulvic acid, amino acids, and microbe food that improves nutrient uptake, so you use less of everything else.
If you're not into bottles, the dry form is the "Terp Tea Microbe Boost."
I guess watch out that you don't double...
I've used a bunch of their stuff. Soil, guano, dry nutrient blends and a couple of their bottles.
All their stuff is quality, I'm pretty much a fan-boy.
