That's pretty common for soil grows. Garden Lime for Calcium, Dolomite Lime for Magnesium.
If your water is Alkaline with lots of dissolved solids, use Less lime. If your water is more towards neutral with less dissolved minerals, use More lime.
Also think about the Calcium that's already in...
Ok!
Feed steady through bloom. And bump sulfur a little bit for smells/flavors. Tolerate a little potassium or magnesium in your Sulfur Supplement but don't overdo it with K. And go easy on Phosphorus so your buds finish slowly.
OK
Magnesium, Potassium and Sulfur at the end of veg and then through the first half of flower. Then dropping off.
Somehow I thought I was supposed to use Phosphorus and Calcium during early/mid flower. Then lower that and increase Potassium and Magnesium in the last half or third of...
Well, it's a sign of a particular deficiency, that usually happens to me near the end of flowering. So I associate it with plants being nearly done. But I grow in soil, it's normal for stuff to run out near the end.
In your soilless mix, with the same nutrients, you shouldn't be "running out."...
Your plants are looking pretty good.
In the past dudes just called those colors "The Fade" and didn't worry much about it. Like fall leaves, it meant the end was near.
Lately people we identifying this as a Micronutrient Deficiency. Probably low levels of more than one of the minor nutes like...
What the difference between "Sulfate of Potash" and "Potassium Sulfate?"
How limited should my Mag Sulfate and K Sulfate be? What's a good ratio of Magnesium to Potassium?
You could probably use Some ewc and Some vermiculite for a seed starter mix, but 50% ewc 50% vermiculite would make a super, super dense, muddy, thick mess that would not be good for seedlings.
Lots of guys use EWC + Promix + More Aeration and do just fine, so don't worry! It's 100% doable and...
I agree about pH issue. It looks like you threw things out of whack with the crazy top dressings. You may have slowed down your microbes.
I would use some EWC or compost to Top Dress or brew up some microbe tea to get your soil life kicking again.
I wouldn't worry about defoliating, your most...
It's called "Terp Tea Bloom Booster." .5- 6- 18
https://www.aurorainnovations.com/terpteabloombooster
Incredible Bulk is a similar recipe from a different company. I haven't used that one before.
They are good. Most Roots stuff is solid.
The ingredients in the terp tea are really finely ground so they are easy to work with. If you don't feel like messing with the brewing process you can just top dress instead. I haven't had any problems with bugs. In the past I used Happy Frog and got...
Oh sorry man, you did have the D-Lime in there. 1/2 solo cup for the batch is probably OK.
Do you know anything about the water you'll be using? If it's Hard Water with lots of dissolved solids and a High pH use less lime. If it's got a lower pH and less. And I guess using top soil instead of...
Yeah, four 300 watt lights in a 4 x 4 tent would be double what you need.
You would want two of the 300s (or 350s) for that space. You could also use one 600 (or 650) for that area. Two separate lights would be "better" than one fixture, just because you could spread them out a little further...
It depends!
I use Worm Tea mostly for microbes, not to provide nutrients to the plants. Years ago some guys (maybe Microbe Man?) said that too many amendments in your work tea would harm/limit your microbe population. So based on that old info, No, extra dry amendments won't make Worm Tea...
I got separate bottles of fish and seaweed so I could have complete control over the nutrients and develop my own perfect, custom recipes.
But honestly, I add seaweed every time I use the fish guts anyway. I think the blend would be 100% cool.
I grew some Wedding Cake.
At 8 weeks some of the buds were bending over my skinny branches and laying on the floor, so I chopped those plants. The 8 week buds were not as good as the plants I let go to 9 and 10 weeks. I agree with you, I would for sure push past 8 weeks and 10 weeks sounds...
Continue to feed a little nitrogen through flower. Don't go crazy, but you can use a little neem or alfalfa, or even Roots veg formula right up to week 7 or 8 to keep things green. In a 7 gallon pot I might do 1 teaspoon of neem with 2 or 3 teaspoons of Bloom through mid flower. Then switch to...
