I need help with my Ventilation setup please

You want you fan closer to your filter. You can put your filter in your tent with your fan, connected "in front" of your fan, so the fan sucks through your filter. Or you can put your fan and filter outside of the tent, with the fan on top of your filter, pushing smelly air through your filter.

Where did all the guano go?

I don't have any info on the guano supply chain, but I would like to know what's going on. Did the corona situation somehow freeze the guano trade? That is strange about the high N sea bird guano disappearing. After seeing your post I searched around and it seemed like only old, big bags that...

Soil test results, looking for help deciphering

I hate to hear that you are having these problems. Coot's Mix is supposed to be mild and problem free. I wonder what is going on.

Soil test results, looking for help deciphering

It's organic soil, you don't flush it. "Dilute" it with some peat moss and add fresh compost to further dilute and especially to get your microbes live and kicking. Strong bacteria and fungus will help make a better environment for your plants. If you're into using stuff from the forest add...

    FF Cha Ching?

Big doses of water soluble phosphorus turn the leaves of my soil plants yellow overnight. A bunch of phosphorus too late in flower can also cause foxtailing. Or your buds can just push out a bunch of new white hairs and it seems like they'll never finish. I think I would look for something...

Foliar Spray - when, where, why, how, who, wut?

Some stuff has special benefits when you spray it on. Kelp extract foliar is supposed to promote lateral branching in vegging plants. And improve your success cloning if you spray it on 2 weeks before cutting. Foliar spray take effect fast. If you're lacking magnesium and you use an Epsom...

    Airflow...

Pulling air off the floor for your intake is dusty, but that's where the cool air is, so it's like a trade off. I was having some problems with summer heat. A fan on the intake dropped temps a few degrees vs passive, but it was still a little hot. I put a squirrel cage fan or "blower fan" in...

    Sound like a good tea?

I've never used that stuff, so this is just an uneducated opinion. If it's specifically for compost tea it's probably heavy on compost and lighter on nutrients. It will probably be OK, but you may not need it for a few weeks yet, the 4-8-4 you top dressed with may have beneficals added too.

    Sound like a good tea?

If you just went into bigger pots of fresh soil and you top dressed with a bloom mix you shouldn't need anything else during weeks 3,4,5. There should be plenty in the pots for your plants. Maybe something with compost (tea or top dress) to keep your microbes kicking but I think you're got...

    Soil

Also consider using a pre made, commercial bagged soil, maybe with some extra work castings for your first run. If you use something like Roots Organic, after your first grow you'll have a nice "Base" soil that includes peat, coco coir, perlite and pumice without having to track down each...

Prepping for my first run of bubble hash!

That's awesome. The first time I used bubble bags I had the work bag and collection bags all in the same bucket, with no drain. I had to take the whole setup apart and put it back together over and over, it was stupid.

Prepping for my first run of bubble hash!

Your process seems sleek and efficient, which is good because that's a lot of trim. I like the idea of agitating outside the work bag, in the big trash can. That sounds so much easier than working in a small bucket. I will totally copy that! I hope everything goes smoothly.

Is watering daily with smart pots normal?

Plants are thirsty in the second half of flower and fabric pots do dry out faster than hard pots, so it might be totally normal. If things got too dry it's possible that pockets of your soil are dried out and repelling water. Like you water and it runs out the side of the fabric pots before it...

Fox Farms dry nutrietns help please?

Yeah, when the buds start. After the crazy growth phase. Don't go too crazy worrying about it, I don't think a week earlier or a week later would cause too many problems. How long have your plants been in their final containers? If they're big and they've been in the same pots for awhile it's...

    Should I defoliate this forest?

That's awesome! If you report back and tell us about your results you'll be doing the grow world a huge favor.

    Should I defoliate this forest?

Do one or two, but not all of them. That way you have something to compare the defoliated plant(s) to. If it sucks you'll know, you've only messed up 1-2 plants and you'll never have to think about it again. If it's awesome and the defoliated plants do better than the untouched plants you can...

    Help on soil mix

Use peat, perlite and compost to make your Base. About 1 and 1/3 cubic feet of each to get 4 cubic feet total. EWC are great, if you get some count it like compost. Some people like a little more perlite or a little less compost, so you don't have to be super exact. For nutrients use 1/4 cup...

Fox Farms dry nutrietns help please?

I top dress Happy Frog Fruit and Flower about 10-14 days into flowering. About when the growing tips transition to pistols/wispy buds. Then again about 6 weeks in if the plants are looking pale or hungry.

Myccorhizae applied directly to cuttings? I just tried it...

I also dipped my cuttings in mycos during my last round of cloning. Results were good, I had roots and put the clones in dirt in 12 days. I don't know if the mycos did anything because I also used compost tea (instead of azos) for bacteria and fish hydro for nutrients to wet/innoculate my...
