who wants to run a mycorrhiza experiment?

mycorrhiza is the word for the relationship, not the fungus but anyway... it couldn't hurt, but i don't see it proving a substantial advantage. the fungus is not going to grow too well without roots to adhere to

I got a BEEF! Why do I have to do it in the dark????

you don't have to do anything harvesting before the lights come on (i.e. the morning) is a good time because as soon as the light comes on, the terpenes begin to be degraded. they accumulate throughout the night, and that is why your plants smell the best right when the lights come on so...

diatomacious dust won't help much with gnats. you're just going to end up making a mess of your plants a very bright yellow sticky trap placed near the surface of the soil will catch most of the adults, and drying out the soil will kill the larvae a combination of these should keep them under...

Cut some fan leaves, bottom leaves turned bright yellow

Do not cut off any fan leaves which are not already dead. This does not help the plant in any way. It hampers it. Early pruning of bud sites which will not receive adequate light, in order to redirect the energy, is a different story
