I've had repeated problems with water temps at 67-68, so if cool temps will do it, they need to be even lower than that.

Decided to keep some mother plants, cloning off my veg plants leaves me with rather small clones and extra veg time. Anyway, was gunna pop em in soil, but now I'm leaning toward hempy's. 3 gal buckets good for moms maybe?

Be careful with the bleach, works good for regular root rot but not slime in my experience. I tried the bleach (1/2 ml per gal) in both my veg and flower systems because I started to get "non-slime" root rot. In my veg system 24 hrs later it was slime city!!! worst case of slime I've had yet...

Cool, thanks for the info. I've got some hydroton drying in foil oven pans right now-read that 1/2 hour at 450 in the oven and they're good to go so i'm gunna try it. Got to be better than the soak and rinse (repeatedly) thing I've been doing!

So what do you suggest instead of hydroton? I was thinking of starting with that because I have a bunch already, would only have to get the pots (I'm thinking the 6x6x7 square pots btw). Thanks!!
