Don't know about bc nutes but as a general rule if you're just topping the res and adjusting ppm's you should be fine. If your changing the nutes in the res for something else (from veg to flower nutes for example) then you should also change the res.

I moved mine in 15 minute increments every other day and had no problems. You could also get a fan speed controlled and turn it way down during lights off, just enough to keep negative pressure in the tent/room, and then no smell will escape and it will be really quiet running on low. Not sure...

Well, you can only get so much disolved oxygen into the water, but I don't think you can do much harm by "over" aerating the water unless your putting heated air in and it's making the water too warm (Which shouldn't be a problem for you since your running a chiller)
