Nice write up . I too am strictly organic..I dont know ...maybe its me..but it seems the taste comparison at the end is the big winner for me(flushing or not..it seems that taste is always there). Luckily for us we have 2 goats and some chickens ..so the organic matter was never an issue for...

Been getting cold as hell here on the East coast at nights,...I worried the girls arent gonna finish in time before a really bad cold snap hits.They are fattening up nicely,and smells like a skunk raided my yrd in the morning ,,but damn!! patience is one virtue I really have to learn better...

super heavy rains here last night.. was worried sick ..even took the day off work today to make sure they were dried out .I had a branch break on me from the high winds... little bit too early ..but at least its a "taste" of whats to come.

Mid season pics.... Gardens are going good..and Gertie is just loving the outdoors.. her sisters are fairing well too ,but not as healthy.been hard keeping them trimmed,,they just wanna go.I was amazed at the results of the hukelkulture bed as well. I didnt water anything in that garden once...

yes and no. I am taping a piece of the leaf down yes...but be the same as trimming the tip off..would it not.It wont hurt the plant.may tarnish that piece of leaf. At least thats how I been doing it for years with our family's tomato plants..figured be same process here. I do have green...
