For me the best medium to grow in has been canna coco(which is a good brand of coco coir) mixed with some perlite. It grows plants almost as fast as hydro as its very light and airy. You guys should try it i bet ull like it.

18/6 will definately not make your plant strectch. Ive grown 18/6 all my life with excellent results. If they stretched for you it was probably coz ure lights werent good enough. have fun growing, you will be addicted soon!
