About led lights, yield, and splitting rooms.

Ha, just saw your reply now. I have already connected the rooms together, and I run them syncronized & daytime so no light leaks problems. Thats what I wanted to do (2 flower tents + 1 veg), mainly because I can put 12 x 3gal pots under the 4xHans and 9 others under the XGS, wich makes 21 total...

About led lights, yield, and splitting rooms.

That is the initial plan running at the moment, but Im more interested in big yields than running a perpetual setup tbh, and if the yields are big enough, then no need to run a perpetual like I originally planned to do, or to stay home for long periods of time, etc etc. Thats why Im hesitating...

About led lights, yield, and splitting rooms.

Ok, so not overkill then, thanx for the answer. I was thinking 2 flowering tents with different timings would be the best option yield wise, but if the benefits will be higher under the same sun... then lets go for it.

I think their white/red 3:2 was better than the blue/red... and maybe the code floating around for some time can still make it cheaper? Wasnt it 250$ off or something like that? That would be an interesting option price wise, but I know what you mean with Apache's lack of info. This is exactly...

About led lights, yield, and splitting rooms.

Here is the dilemna: I have currently 4 Hans panels (3x80 + 1x65) in a 4x4 flowering tent that Im using for small plants and 1 A51 XGS 190 + 1x65 Hans panel panel in another 4x4 flowering tent wich I plan to use for bigger plants. My question is: would I benefit from putting all the panels in...

    Led Users Unite!

lol, choices... I've been in the same situation as you but in my case it took months to decide. First went for 3 x Hans 65 watters, then realized I need something more powerful for my bigger plants and ordered an XGS because it has better light penetration. Then I saw the new 80 watters from...

    BonsaiHero Vs Area 51

1g/watt is already a good result, you can see in the link below that someone pulled 371g out of 4 panels, wich is amazing, above 1.5g/watt.... but still isnt a pound. The maximum someone made is 195g out of 2 panels... Double this (4 panels) and you're still 2 zips away from a pound...

    BonsaiHero Vs Area 51

Not sure 3 Hans can replace 2 x HPS 400. Maybe one, but not two... if you're looking for a pound++ harvest, you'll need to hit the 2g/watt mark with 3 Hans panels (the 80w version). Seems a lot to me... and more easily reachable with 2 XGS IMHO. Maybe Im wrong tho, I hope because that would...

    Led Users Unite!

Tried myself and I found that 3 Hans is a bit short for a 4x4 area (its still ok tho, just not perfect), I'd say you need at least 4 to completely cover that space. But I think a member of this forum had a 4x4 tent with 3 of them, was it Multipass? Maybe you should ask him what he thinks...

IF you are new to LED and want help choosing what to buy, POST HERE!

Admiral Surf, I was following the topled thread on the other forum where the metal shavings pics have been showed first, so I can assure you they were posted overthere and have been deleted. Now, I have another concern about topled, as I stated myself overthere: Question from me "Also, I check...

IF you are new to LED and want help choosing what to buy, POST HERE!

Yep, correct. Hans panel's cover area is 60/40 cm, 60/50 cm at best. Thats about 2 ft / 1.5. I have one panel covering a small propagator and 6 x 2 liters pots. More than enough to veg 1 plant, you could do even more if they're bonsai mothers. If only clones, I'd say it covers at least 40-50...

Its 300 potential watts maximum, but if its driven to the max, the diodes will burn, thats why they're driven between 0.3 and 0.7, meaning its from 1/3 to 2/3 of the power announced, depending on the companies and leds. Other companies will indicate the actual draw and not the potential maximum...

    Area 51

I ordered one last week, registered on the site and everything was ok, even got confirmation mails but today I realized I didnt receive the tracking number. Wrote a mail back to Jeff and had my missing mail with the tracking number in the hour following my request.

New to LED. first time grower.

So I guess you have only one tent, and you will use it first for veg and then flo. In that case, since you will not be adding new plants each month (to have a perpetual harvest), and its the same strain, you dont really need to have multiple panels at different height. If you plan on one tent...

New to LED. first time grower.

For your budget and tent I'd go with A51... but it depends on how you grow. Is it a perpetual thing? Will the plants have different height/age? If not, then Area51. If different plants height, then I'd say go with Hans... 2 Hans panels - 450$ - covers at best 60x100 cm or 120x50 cm Area51 -...

    Led and heat problems.

mc130p: I was thinking to add 10 inch / 25 cm rockwool layer on top of my grow tents, maybe that would help? Cant put anything on the sides tho. BadKarma: yeah, cant wait for summer (then it will be pests I guess), it will be far easier. Unfortunately I cant spend much on an HID ballast + bulbs...

    Led and heat problems.

Hi guys, Usually people complain about the excessive heat, but I'm in the opposite situation: my grow tents are in an uninsulated part of the house, its like a conservatory but the temps are cold as outside. Im located in Europe, right now its like 5-10° C. I bought 2 small oil radiators, one...

4th Official Party Cup Grow off Registration

Sounds like fun, count me in. Just a question guys, whats the deadline for the flowering? I have a purple haze x malawi bean I'd like to pop but it needs between 16 and 20 weeks, is that ok or its too long? Should I choose something else?
