Yes I'm going to mainline her. I'm still decideding what to try with the Skywalker. Might veg it out into something cloneable and pop 4-5 clones in the tent in her place while I'm training random.

Little update, topped the random yesterday and she is bouncing back very nice. The Skywalker is 14 days from sprouting and she is cruising along. It seems to me they have taken well to their new light!

Pulled 2 of these out of an Apollo 180w. Any suggestions on what I could use them for? Possible veg light I'm thinking.

Yeah when it's higher up it'll also be right next to a 6" exhaust.

And the heat sink is hardly warm to the touch. My space is usually 77~F and I still will be adding another fan for the girls. I'm comfortable with the temperature, they seem to be enjoying it!

I'm in a very small space and felt that shape would best suit it. Each COB is within 6-8" of each corner of the tent. I also figured when I expand I could just put them end to end for a larger spread and work on an improved design :D

Wanting to build a light, I'm planning on running 2 heat sinks 22"*5.88 2 CXB3590s per sink all running on an HLG185-1400B. Is this overkill in a 2x2.5ft set up? This can run passively and would be my preference. Any suggestions would be appreciated :)

Any tips on converting this Apollo 180w UFO? Its draw from the wall is 109 watts. http://www.apollohorticulture.com/LED-ufo-180w.html Totally noob but I feel like this would be easy to pull off with some insight from the best!
