Well obviously you did or else you wouldn't have asked a question about it. Yeah, it was a little deceptive but some jokes are. I mean who in their right fucking mind would believe that a light reverts a plant back to a seed? You'd have to be a child to believe that shit, hence it being a valid joke.

I was hoping my sharing of experience with the 730nm LED stars would compensate for your let down but it looks like you're still pretty shook up about the joke.

:peace:
it's whatever i do my own research I'm not as sophisticated as some of the others here but it's seems you always just want to stir the pot like with Green the other day not a big deal again i just think that you come off very unfriendly

I've been trying this time with no 730nm at lights out and have been noticing less stretch, and I think the stretch is finishing just as early. I'm still not sure how it compares with and without the 730nm, 12, 13, or 14 hours of light.

Do you even realize that making accusations and whining about how unfriendly we are, and bitching about "the other day" makes you no friend, and not at all friendly.

It makes you come off very unfriendly.

Just want to stir the pot? Are you new to forum life, in general. This is not unusual. :)
Do not come on here unless stoned. Simple advice.

No one is sophisticated, but there is never a newb that is not hazed a little. I don't care what it is. Newbs get it, Part of the process of growing up. And you are certainly acting the part.

Could SemiLed have the next new best 730 led ?

Have a look at these : http://shop.stevesleds.com/SemiLeds-Far-Red-3W-Brand-NEW-8794102596.htm

If those numbers are correct, I get about 39.8% efficiency @700mA, slightly better than osram ... @350mA !
(0.725mW radiation, for 1.82W burned)

Add the fact they are on star, and therefore, much easier to DIY, this looks to good ..

Am I missing something here ? :eyesmoke:

MC are you using the bml 730 bar? Can you share your ratio for 730nm watts to sq ft of canopy?

many thanks
i have a 3x2 space, and I think it's a 12W lamp? Idk, been a while....but apparently that is even more than I need, from what I've heard. I don't see any harmful effects to the plants though at 2W/ft^2, so I guess that's the most important thing. It only runs for 5 mins per day at lights out.

1.5w solderless bar fab by cutter for $20 USD.
wow nice

I wonder how many of those would do the job in my 50x26" space? If I needed like 5 of them I'd do it myself but If 2 would do I'd buy em up right now.

I'm kind of tempted to grab a pair and position them to spread an even dosage of 730nm. Do you have any experience with them? Recommend a driver?
