The roots did not smell and were white. Seemed fine to me. However, all the soil broke in a bunch of small pieces (don't know if that's normal?) and was really damp/wet. I put new soil in (same brand). Can pests cause problems like this?

Hey Bugeye, I know. :( I'm devastated. It is organic. When I water it, the water drains out the bottom, but I notice that it retains a lot of water. Could that be the issue?

Thanks for replying! The soil is MG and the nutes are Alaska fish fertilizer and alaska morbloom. It was absolutely thriving all this time, so I don't know what I did wrong. What would cause root issues?
