me i dont cut the leaves off the outdoor plants they will die when they are ready. they are growing and are healthy,i think your friend is right to stick to his guns....:-)

wont matter we can wing it..:-)..we will both have roughly the same amount of growing time,as to vegging mine wont start flowering till febuary 2009 so plenty of time...:-)

hey shroomy hows it going..:-) i trimmed a lot of the sugar(shade) leaf off to let some more light in to the center of the plant. they are going a lot better than i expected...:-)

the yellowing of the shade (sugar )leaf is a natural process. they do die but if you only have a little bud i would say you have at least 4 to 5 weeks growing left depending on what strain. so dont panic all is ok ...:-) photo's are always good it helps

you can.. they germinate in nature in direct sunlight so yes you can , but dont let them dry out...that would be bad...:-)

unfortunately it is solid clay under me so i decided to add some depth in the area(although i grew the one in my avatar in the same spot last season) me being a lazy geriatric old fart could not be bothered digging into the clay. so yes hoping a bit more space for the roots will help me with...

the cage is mainly to keep the dog off it,but it will also help support the plant during flowering when it rains. the branches get very heavy and sometimes they snap...:-) it is growing in an old small rainwater tank that i cut it has no bottom...:-) think you are on to something there,it...

time for an update on my outdoor monster attempt. starting to see some real growth now spring is here it is looking good and is putting on some real healthy growth. i will mulch again shortly amd maybe give it some flexi.N (nitrogen liquid) to boost leaf growth.

some new photo's of my indoor plants .. i am wondering are they going to stop growing they are just about three feet tall now ...:-) been on a 12/12 cycle now for nearly a month still no sign of flowering but being sativa i guess this is normal.

it may be only available in Australia,cant say for sure but if it is around look in the building supply shops they would have it or know if you can get it...:-)
