    soil recipe help....

if you have time to let it cook - mix it all up and cook it, then use the cooked mix as the bottom 1/3 of the pot, the top 2/3 should be regular potting soil. This will get you through all of veg and the first few weeks of flower probably. if you have the money buy some other stuff to throw in...

    Living Organics *Ofiicial Thread*

I am down with Rising Moon 100%...Sorry yall...also he didnt really sound like a dick in the first post - that was a great wake up call for 99% of the growers on this site. Someone advocating that hard for true organics should be welcome, and very appreciated on this thread... I heard a lot of...

    CO2 + Homebrew = A Synergistic Approach

I have been thinking for a long time about cultivating edible mushrooms in my flower room for this exact reason...it is pretty damn easy to sterilize a bag of straw and inoculate it with oyster mushroom spores...and in a grow room environment that mycelium will fill up the bag in a week or so...

Serious nutrient Earth Juice/ Bio Bizz question (something i need to have cleared up)

First, just wondering how you think pure RO water would damage the rhizosphere? I use RO and it is the bomb...as long as you supplement cal/mg somehow. Can't comment on earth juice sorry never used it, can you list some ingredients? or what products you are using in particular? the more info you...

Oriah's Garden - SuperSoil TGA perpetual medical SCROG

I love SPT, its my go to stuff, but I also use Oregonism by Aurora (Roots Organics) and I love that stuff. I usually put a little bit of both in my compost teas, and it works magic for sick plants - and keeps healthy plants jamming along at rage force. Yesterday I spent like 15 minutes at the...

Mychorizzal, is it missing in our super soil mix?

I make sure to sprinkle my roots with mycorrhizae every time I transplant. Direct contact with the roots is the surest way to innoculate. Root drenches are great but often you use a lot of mycorrhizae for what it's worth - I prefer to dust the roots instead. Obviously if you aren't transplanting...

    Reusing super soil...

Agreed that it is relatively cheap to use up soil indoors and then throw it outside in the raised beds, but there is definitely something to be said about soil recycling. This is a great old thread from grasscity - I would recommend reading the whole thing. Pay special attention to every...

    What's better? RE: Air Intake.

A passive intake (one where there is no fan) is a totally viable option, however it will create a strain on your existing fan that is not necessary (your exhaust fan is working double to push air out and also bring it in) . If you have the $$$ I would buy a small intake fan (less CFM than your...

    CO2 + Homebrew = A Synergistic Approach

Rainman - thanks :) let me know how the setup turns out. I'd love to hear a taste report on the cider. inluvwitbud - good call about the priming sugar in bottles, that is a great alternative to racking if you don't have an extra bucket etc. Also, some homebrew stores sell little tablets you...

    XTREME GARDENING AZOS (Azospirillum Brasilense)???

From what I understand, Azotobacter and other nitrogen fixing microbes flourish in alkaline soils - specifically between the range of 7.5 and 8. That being said, they still function down to about pH 5.5, but they are mostly active in alkaline soils. Therefore, if you are using Azotobacter in...

I've seen it done before - pumped to see how yours turns out. I've always wanted to try my hand at grafting a cannabis/humulus (hops) mutant just because of my obsession with homebrewing....maybe one day I will have enough free time to give it a go keep us posted on the progress - any pics???

San Diego, WHERE or HOW can i get TGA seeds??

hempdepot.com or attitude. there are probably clubs in SD in LA that have verified TGA cuts - if you really want seeds your best bet is online. Either that or wait till the high times medical cup in february - there will most likely be a TGA booth there (I would hope!!!!)
