topping is CUTTING off the top of the pant not pinching the uppermost node, thats probly a way to do FIM to top a plant take the uppermost node and cut the stem above the next node down at that node in a few days you will see two new growths coming up

for new seedlings id put a cfl over them for a week or so before i hit em with a 250, i just think a 250 is a waste of power for such small plants when you can run just a couple 26 watt 6500K cfl bulbs for seedlings i find window light makes em bend sideways towards the window for more light

i have a small fan that has a replaceable filter in it, i opened up the filter so it is just the frame and a wire mesh, im going to put j-cloth or something similar across the mesh and pour activated carbon from a fish store across it, cover again and repeat making an activated carbon filter...

im going with lst, great results so far, although one of my plants has a really thick stem and when i went to tie it down the second time it started to tear so im probly going to transplant it into a bubbler and flower it, skibaba i like your idea of lst veg, scrog flower. i mite do that myself

they are growing well its just a pain to clean the drip rings on a regular basis, i just put holes in some drip tubing with a hot pin and the holes get pluged over time by random residue in the rez and salt buildup thanks for your input

so its 51 days 12/12 now buds coming along nicely growth has slowed down quite a bit, but the buds are still developing i started flushing with just ph'd water

so i tried the second tie-down on my plant and the stem started to TEAR so i stopped and its been 2 days since that but the top has continued to grow healthily but that plant is one thick stemmed mother fu@%er so i dont think i will continue lst, ill probly stick her (hopefully) in a bubbler...

sucks about the ph prob but if your just about to harvest i guess your not in deep water :P plants are looking nice, love the buds
