They work best on 8 buckets or less, but Im a firm believer in the more air the better, so I run 2 of those pumps in a single tub with 3-6 plants per tub. But that is just for flower. I use a single one of those for my 4 mothers and 3 cloning tubs.

The main reason the comercial ones are noisy is the way they make air. The use a piston setup that makes noise no matter how large or small, just the bigger they are, the louder it gets. But they are by far the best bang for the buck and move more air than the pump I put up, was just offering a...

It varies greatly, but is based on the size&number of plants and the size of your screen. I have basically 2 3'x4' screens. One was filled out with 3 larger clones(18") and has done very well and the other with 6 small clones(6-8"). But from what you have sai, I would try out 6 medium...

My friends build has 4 plants in a 4'x4' screen. Mine has a 3'x8' screen with 3 one one side and 6 on the other. Its always nice to feel like you have good control over a strain.Thanks for stopping back by.

Understandable. People make it sound difficult, but as long as you make sure the basics are taken care of you will usually end up with something decent.
