I assume problems I had early on with nutrients was also a factor on the extended flower time. But thats why you just keep checking and let the plant tell you when its done.

So have you noticed any benefits or drab backs from changing the bulb yet?

Too early to tell. It's only been in there about 4 days. The next 3 weeks should tell the story though.
