hey... i am nearly on week 2 (this saturday).. the plants only have 3-4 small leaves... (2cmin length)... is this normal? i havent placed it under my 600w hps light yet nor in my hydroponics setup as i was told it was too early...currently, for the time being, i have placed 3 plants...

i was thinking about that, (4 23 watt CFLs) ... thanks.. i only needed good lights for the begining as i have a 600hps light... far to early to use them this is why i was asking about the early stages..

they are not in my set up, too early to be in there.. its a small propagator.

the plants are 1st week, it wont need 18hrs light, this is what veg needs when its grown about 5 leaves or more..plants a bit too small to be thinking its in week 4 isnt it.... it only has 2 small leaves,. if i put these plants in 18hrs light, it will bleach them!

hi im on week one. plants are around 2-3inches high with 3-4 leaves. i water them everyday but not sure how much light they need and for how long.. also, shall i place them underneath my halogen lights for the time being? please advise.

its hot outside, 75degF.. so i should cover the other holes that i am not using??

hi... my 14 gallons res is making my humidity peak to 70%.. between 40-60 is good.. but is 70% too high.. if so, how do i lower it... ( i was testing the humidity without the lights and carbon filter extraction turn off.)

it is useful though. H202 is hydrogen peroxide (bleaching agent)...it has 2 oxygen atoms which makes up 1 oxygen molecule this means more oxygen as it is highly soluble. H2O2 it will break down and release Oxygen into the area around the plant roots. This helps stop Oxygen from being used up...

LOOOOLLLL sorry man,, english was bad, i was high... rephrase.. in that case, i don't need the extractor to bring in fresh air at night.. plants cant take in co2 at night. therefore, i can switch it off at night and just have a small fan circulating around for humidity reasons...

na, i will use the this formula... ((target ppm - current ppm) / target) * 8 ml per gallon * res gallons = Flora Micro (ml) i got what you told me to get and i know it should be fine...

i just realized something about what you said... "If you don't have fresh air circulating, the plants use up all the fresh air to get their C02, then you are left with stagnant air that the plants can no longer use." in that case, i don't need the extractor to bring in fresh air at night...

i thought my small hole which brings a continuous small blow of fresh air (just like blowing into your hands softly) would be enough! :(... now i have to add that other noisy extractor..

so why does everyone say its vital for fresh air? the plants respires and co2 is produced as well as o2.. my hydro has 12 gallons of water with a 3ml per min pumping to a 12" air stone... this should increase humidity too.. and also air stone gives the plants oxygen thought the roots... so...

temp averages around 85deg down to 80... so do i need another extractor for the fresh air? isn't a (1cm hole) continuous blow of air using the intake be enough? i just dont want two extractors running...

temp is 75degF ... not sure about humidity.. plants are not in yet, would i need a humidity meter too? what sort of humidity am i suppose to look out for?
