    First grow

I'm still newer to growing but I have always found the 1g/1w thing a little hokey. I use 440w and considering going to 660w for one plant. If I yield 60g or 90g then that's 0.14g/1w or 0.2g/1w but it's entirely grown for me and I prefer to smoke the hash and only keep the tops. Just grow to suit...

FOX FARM NUTRIENT USERS! have a question can you help me?

I typically do 2t/gal grow big, 3T/gal micro, and maybe an additive here or there depending (like CAli MAGic) and then the first 3 maybe 4 weeks into flower I use 1t/gal grow big and 1t/gal tiger bloom with 2-3T/gal micro and supplement with some GH brand stuff again (very minimal). Weeks 4-6 I...

hairs are turning BROWN!!! 49 days into flower! About 75 from seed!!!!

What Slipon was saying is that you should stop using your veg nutrients and exclusively use bloom to finish. Your pH seems fine by the pictures, what he said to increase is P - phosphorus. Simply switching to exclusively bloom nutrients is the same as increasing P and decreasing N...

hairs are turning BROWN!!! 49 days into flower! About 75 from seed!!!!

Those, for the most part, look really white to me. In my only second grow experience I would think you must have a sativa because at 7 weeks she looks like she has 2 more to go? Better answers will likely follow, but it looks like great shit man!

    ph adjustments

Are you using a trust worthy tester? I went cheap with the testing strips at first and thought my 9.2 water was 7.0 until I bought my bluelab pen.

    ph adjustments

If the nutrients are locked out from the pH then flushing shouldn't do anything - you're dealing with deficiency not toxicity. Make sure your water/feed is pH'ed properly before it goes in... then the run off should be fine. I live in limestone country and the tap water is very alkaline... but...

    10 gallon nursery pot

Here's an update. I did the last prune work on her today. Cut it down from 10 heads to 7 because 3 of them were obviously inferior. Going to give her a few days to recover and get some growth up to the ring then I'll flower this bitch!

    Question, need your opinion.

I took cuttings from my previous grow 3 weeks into flower and the cuttings showed growth in under a month. I'd still expect to be patient!

    10 gallon nursery pot

Here's the 5 gallon bucket. This is after pruning twice, and before the third. OP pictures have gone through maybe 5 or 6.

my first indoor grow ever LOTS of questions

taaa, You seem like a calculus student that slept through algebra and geometry. Except, unlike those engineer-want-to-be's, you aren't so F'ed. Check out the stickies in the main forums. Watch a basic growing video like a Jorge Cervantes instructional or something (free via torrent or...

    10 gallon nursery pot

I will reveal the root ball in the end, although I can't imagine anyone currently interested remembering when the time comes 10 weeks or so from now. You say the foliage doesn't match what I claim the root ball to be like. There are 10 "tops" that I have kept and tied down. On at least two of...

    10 gallon nursery pot

You don't think so? What is there for you not to think? This plant was in a 5 gallon Lowes bucket and it was root bound. The black pot it is pictured in is 10 gallons. There is no question, I was just sharing this.

Massive root mass was bound in a 5 gallon bucket. Start flower in maybe 10-14 days.

    First time FIM technique

Not only first time with the technique but done to my first clone. It's a 10 headed girl right now I'm pretty happy about it. Only the one plant means plenty of love. Was considering slapping a screen over it soon or just continue tying down like I've been - not in a hurry to start flowering, I...

    Advice wanted, pictures included

MrGhettoGrower, please read all of my post before you reply to it. Furthermore, yellowing occurs at the end of plant life cycle, which is not what is pictured above. When you just guess, it's the opposite of help. Bubbles, thanks for the intelligent reply. My night temps may actually be...

    Tops & Light Hood

Thanks! Note the aggressive prune. I'm only growing canopy, anyway. I'm going to go ahead and bend them and that will allow me to raise the plants back up (the light is fixed).

    Tops & Light Hood

What do you guys think about this? The tops on my Monty Python twins have shot up to the glass. It's been 20 days since I started 12/12 lighting. This is an air cooled 400w HPS system, and the glass itself hardly ever reaches 85 degrees(f). Should I do something about this or are the temps low...

    A rookie who needs light

You've been saving money for 2 years? I don't get how you could have had the discipline and patience (which I applaud you for) to hold out for that long while simultaneously not reading the most basic of information about what you were saving for. C'mon man.
