Okay im finished for now. This is what I came up with. I had to get 6"-4" adapters for the hood and fan so the fan would fit. Correction I can get the duct through the hole im sure just notvthe fan. So ill cram the duct in there n place the fan even more on the outside

Smell isnt an issue. If I were to do anything with a carbon I would make it and stick it on the outer part of the fan. And thanks for the suggestion that is what I was thinking but no the tent wont give in not close and I really dont want to cut a hole but I will if I need to

Idk if this matters when it comes to venting the light but it has glass covering the bottom of the hood

Slowandsteady. That would work great my tent just has a couple issues. One the location of the holes in the tent, the size of the holes, and the space between my hood and the walls of the tent. There are two holes on the top and three at the bottom. These holes are actually about 5-5.5 inches...

Do u guys think i can just put to exhaust fans in and be okay because of the three vents at the bottom.? Wouldn't it just pull the air from outside?

Slowandsteady thats a cool cool tube. What do I hook it up to permanently? No box it runs through or is the amp lookin thing just a dimmer?

Some guy had this grow tent and the 400w light fixture with hps light and mh light on cl for 120 i jumped on it. There are three screen vents at the bottom about 3" tall and 16" long. How the hell do I hook up that fan? I have a 4" and a 6" just temporary. Any suggestions?

Okay I understand the difference. All the inline fans I see are rated at about 200cfm do I need that much power ?

I feel like if there is a bigger exhaust fan its creating a vacuuming pressure if that makes sense. And I feel like if the exhause is smaller the tent will alnost blow up like a balloon
