Well what happens is when you stress the plant it "self pollenates" and people want to say it's a "hermie" no no no...lol...many people do this on purpose with "colloidal silver" it stresses a perfectly healthy plant into "self pollenating" it self...this in turn creates "nanners" on the female...

It depends on what strain you have, and whether they were mature enough or not...a mature sativa can have a flower cycle of up to 4 months, so the stretch at the beginning of flower is extreme, and will double and then some...an indica on the other hand, if mature should have started showing pre...
