If it was me I would ditch the HID and use CFLs in this stage...it will stop that stretch so they won't fall over...lol...CFLs can be put right over them, like an inch or 2 above, this will stop that "bad" stretch...good luck...and hey Welcome to RIU...

I have found that germing my beans in a moist paper towel inside a sandwich baggie inside of a folded towel in my grow room (because of temps) I have almost a 100% rate of sprout...there are the few bad beans that just won't sprout but overall this method has worked the best for...

There's nothing standard about that crispy critter, and it's not nute burn...if you are going to give advice, make sure it's from experience and not from your ass to try and make yourself sound good...you're going to make someone kill their plants with advice like that...so kick back and learn...

Well I agree with Aim, it looks like P lockout...but more info is needed...what nutes are you using? what soil? R/O water or tap?....What it looks like to me is first way too small of pot, second not enough nutes, no perlite for drainage/oxygen to roots....Bad PH or insufficient diet...I would...

Yep I use subs supersoil also...I'm only on my 3rd grow but, that super soil sure makes all the difference in the world...here's my last grow in subs soil... (3rd)...

I recommend that if using CFLs you mix your spectrum 3 to 1...3 5000k (if not 6500k) and 1 2700k for flower...you will obviously need more than 3 lights...lol...but you get the idea...I use to do CFLs and I found I needed around 120w per plant and all around it as close as possible...good luck...

I've always used my tap water but, my friend uses reverse osmosis and has to add a multi chelated minerals to his water...he gets them at Suzannes Heath here in MO...it has all the copper, zinc, calcium, and iron as well as some other much needed good stuff...peace and I hope you get it under...

Dude you must have some ancient flouros...I have a set of T5s for sprouts and a 20" box fan blowing on it and their bright as fuck...they work in temps of 20F and above, I'll give ya that but to dim the light that much it must be an old ballast and tubes...

That's the idea (hydro) my set up is not hydro but, works like it...I get fresh air and food to them every other day so they grow faster...
