No buddy your 400w HPS will be fine for flower, but you want a MH or CFLs for veg, somewhere in the 6500k light spectrum range. I myself use nothing but CFLs...but what you really need is to research about what you're doing before you come on here and expect people to just give you their...

Get a magnifying glass and look at the bottoms of your leaves and get back to me when you see little spots making webs :wall: EDIT: Lower leaves is were any concentration of mites will be.

Rotate your lights once a week..or use 400 for veg and 600 for flower..

I use neem oil to water and foliar spray mine once a week, they love it, the mites don't so all ends well. BUT you have to use it about twice a week for 2 weeks and then go to once a week. I use it as a regiment now, like feeding, and ya I mix my nutes with it some times, it's organic and good...
