    New LED lights stretching

I thought they were 250w all together.

    New LED lights stretching

Most likely quite a bit less light than a 400w hps. Doesn't mean that that is your problem though. What size is your grow area?

    New LED lights stretching

As far as I know there is no difference. If the gavita numbers are current they are using lower bin leds than hlg. I wouldn't really be that surprised if their lights had a bit higher efficacy these days, because the lm301b bins are getting better and better.

    New LED lights stretching

The information on the lights is so weirdly expressed it is meaningless. I assume it's a spot reading at 30cm. Could just as well be made up and it would be as informative. Download a lux meter app and see what it says around the canopy area.

LST aka WTF am I doing?

I usually try and keep the main a bit lower than the rest. I can't see if you can actually do that yet though.

    Scale recommendations for lbs

Why do you need such an accurate scale? I mean if you are weighing 100+ grams it just seems silly. One gram is only 0.2% of a pound.

    Tent covers for light leaks?

I don't understand how your tents can be so holey that light leaking from a tent could cause problems in another tent. My tent door zipper broke and I just hung a sheet of panda poly in front and use a couple of clamps to hold the doors.

Uhm, do you already own the lights? If not get something else. This really is not good.

    Led guys chime in

Yeah. Same. But hortilux was one of the companies which have those blurple greenhouse fixtures. Apparently up to 3.5umol/j. IIRC the one I thought about DIYing would've been almost 4 umol/j, but at the time it would have cost almost 1500€ for about 1000umol/s, so I settled for <3 umol/j white...

First time grower ☘️ is it really necessary to do LST ?

I keep the braches growing mostly sideways in veg so every node would grow two new tops and every node on those would grow two new tops and so on. It would end up much too thick of a bush if I didn't remove quite a few.

First time grower ☘️ is it really necessary to do LST ?

Me, I start LST early to break apical dominance. That way I don't have to top. I just remove excess branches.

    Led guys chime in

Those are around. Slim designs so they don't block the sun. I can't remember off hand if they have a higher efficacy than than modern whites though.

That seems to be marketting material from a led manufacturer. I found no info on their experiment. I really do wonder how much of a difference there is. It's a moot point anyhow, because a good blurple is so expensive to build it makes no sense really.

    Led guys chime in

Interesting, but the nasa test was done with lettuce and rgb monos outproduced white light in the test. Meanwhile Bugbee found no difference in cannabis yield between blurple and white.

which light and ventilation would you recomend for small veg box?

Yeah, seems too good to be true. The 22db might be for the lowest setting, but I think that might be enough for me.
