Can vertical growing utilize less space and be stealthy?

If you know when they come it might be possible to hide a tent, but realistically it isn't an option really, imo. How much do you yield or need to yield? Are you maxing out your space?

Do LEDs have a benefit if heat is no issue.

Try running it that close horizontally. I'm pretty sure I can run my boards closer to canopy than that if I run them vertically ;)

Do LEDs have a benefit if heat is no issue.

White light so much nicer to look at than hps. Doesn't feel like the hair on my arms burns off when working with the plants and I sweat a lot less too.

What's your opinion/experience exercising and is strain /trics dependent?

Cycling high is pretty good. I don't like to be extremely high while cycling, but once the high has settled down a bit it's great. And on an indoor trainer it's best to be quite high. Makes it much better.

Do cuttings take longer time to root in a colder environment with lower humidity?

I can't be sure if it will work for everyone, but seems to work fine for me. I take small clones, but hydrokid above seems to take bigger ones and does fine. I literally just choose supple small branchlets, cut in very shallow angle and stick in peat puck. I add water when needed and keep the...

Do cuttings take longer time to root in a colder environment with lower humidity?

This is what I've found too. As long as the medium is moist enough the clones will be fine. Dome is an added complication.

Let's Twist One up! Growing Cannabis with Screw in Bulbs in 2022 ♺

Hey you SIL folks... It would be great if somebody tried dimming their led bulbs and measuring if they get more efficient. They should, shouldn't they? Unless the power supplies become very inefficient or something... You would need dimmable bulbs ofc.

QUOTE="Billy the Mountain, post: 16762149, member: 1048946"] There's no 250w hps lamp that has 1.6umols/watt MIgro tested a 600w SE HPS and it was 1.26umols/watt A 250w HPS is far less efficient Yawn.

Can’t yield more than 2 zips a plant

Yes. There is no real set power leds are made for. You can put more current through them and get more light, but the more it heats up the less efficient it gets. Rated power is just what the manufacturer thinks is the sweet spot between how many diodes you need and how efficient they are (/how...

Can’t yield more than 2 zips a plant

Just to be clear a 250w hps should produce almost 400 umol/s.
