    That makes so much sense. Now my final question is...if I elevate it a little and remove the bottom will the roots start popping out the holes in the pot and get exposed to the light. Or am I overthinking it. I just hear light can kill the roots.

    What do you suggest. Im a newbie. And this is my first batch. I didn't remove the bottom because I assumed roots would get thru and if I removed it I would possibly damage roots putting it back on.
