No matter what you know, you must be cognizant of TWO things! Water Temps below 70 deg is pivotal in your grow!! Absolutely NO Light can enter the bucket/container!! Not even thru the plastic tub. Don't even ask why (you dont want to know). Just make sure you can achieve this before you start...

So I cleaned out my entire bucket airstones etc. with h202 and some heavy bleachwater then rinsed repeatedly with DI h20. Pulled off all the dead root matter. Cleaned off the snot and gave them h202 bath. Added h202 to my fresh res let it sit for 2 or 3 hrs added some nutes placed the plants...

Thanks/Megaprops for all who have made this a great thread! Can anyone go thru the actual process when you add H202. Do you just add to your current res? Do you clean out and change the RO water (DI in my case) then add? Then add nutes? Greatly appreciated folks.

A bubbler is all you need for oxygenated water to root contact. I have to indepenent pumps/airstones in mine. fans arent really needed. Besides you want your roots in COMPLETE DARKNESS. Fans may compromise that. Good luck.

? I might be misunderstanding your equipment. DWC in a wooden container? If so, no matter how coated it is, wood and water = mold. Everytime. Get some plastic buckets I think you would be very satisfied. And exuse me if I am mistaken. Peace. Good luck my friend!

I agree with cali chronic. I left my ladies for a bachelor party fri-sun. My stuff is clean and have great homeostasis in my res/nutes/temps/Hum. Gave em like 4" 0f extra canopy space and all was well when I returned.

This could be the start of root rot. Depending how long they sat with no oxygenated water. No oxygen = lots of space for stuff to eat and grow...and your roots will be the food. I am a noob so don't bank on my advice but I would flush the hell out of them repeatedly and add hydrogen peroxide to...

Thanks for the response dyzel. The leaves are sprouted this way. Not being eaten for sure. I stare at my plants all night till lights go out. I have noticed this as soon as they start coming out. tiny tiny dot then it gets bigger as they grow. Its just on a couple tho, not all the leaves...
