Honestly I think my hygrometer is broken. I just put it in another room and I watched it jump to 88% and down to 73% within minutes. I'm going to buy a new one. Perhaps the humidity is not even a problem...

While on the subject may I ask what dehumidifier you guys are using? I'm new to growing (in a small closet) and my humidity is between 70-85 and I need to lower it for sure. Any recommendations?

I'm also a new grower and I questioned this too when I planted my first seeds (couple months ago). The prior experience I had was growing microgreens and those are supposed to be left in the dark to promote longer and more tender stems. If left in the dark it simulates they are still underground...
