I've heard they're different gph outputs but never seen anything to suggest it or back up what I've heard..

Rule of thumb is to assume they'll double(if not triple depending on strain chars.) in height so make sure to take that into consideration when planning a 12/12 switch.. 18" is bout avg. id assume for indoors.

What size cfls r u gonna use?

U just need a ventilation system of some sort man period.. if not you're gonna fight the heat til ur plants wither away from it. Been there done that sand I hate to see it happen. I'm not a pro by any means but u can't grow healthy plants without removing the heat from the gizmo..idk what it was...

Kelvin is how light is measured.. like pounds on a scale for weight..2700k or kelvin being red/orange/yellow spectrum(some blue depending on ur bulb) hps or warm white outside -6500kelvin-blue/white spectrum - metal halide or cool white inside..

Leave em on for atleast 18hrs bub.. with less then 12 hrs they're in flower mode.. unless u wanna try 12/12 from seed but wouldn't try it for my first go. Also, lower the lights or raise ur tray closer so they don't keep stretchin out tall n thin..

Put a smaller cfm rated fan @ ur intake hole @ the bottom..attach ducting to direct the cool air wherever u want/need it. I'm sure a duct booster fan will b sufficient. Hope this helps

Lookin good man.. I found ur other thread n scoped it yesterday and that thing is a beast. How's it comin so far? Any troubles? I built a cab with roughly the same dimensions as ur xl pro and my temps jumped as soon as I switched th hps.. how's it workin fer ya?

My area's a bit bigger then that.. and I use hid lights. I'm hopin it works as I belive I have sufficient ventilation. Now if I could get my temps down.. they jumped from 78 to 88-90 when I switched from mh to hps.
