I have a 150w hps remote ballast that I assembled from the 20$ econolight. I'm noticing my ballast box gets quite hot after my light has been on for several hours. I'm wondering if this is normal? I think i remember hearing that excessive ballast temperature will lead to it wearing out...

how do you connect the ground? green to green, and where does the copper wire that was in the original light fixture go?
