Yes, you can smoke pre-mature bud. Let it go as long as possible though. Of course, keep an eye out for more mold.

You can do it, but its definitely not necessary to get massive plants. You can just as easily start your grow in February or March, then put them in gigantic holes after your last expected frost.

You're just going to have to hope for an abnormally late frost.

It doesn't look ready yet. Probably at least 2-3 weeks away. The calyxes will swell and the hairs will recede inward. If you don't have a magnifying glass to check the trichs, at least wait until you see that happen.

BTW, does this plant look a little bit over-watered to you guys? We probably got 2-3" of rain this week from Lee.

The fan leaves are important in flowering. Don't remove them. Just let them fall off naturally.

There's not much you can do imo. Just let them go as long as you possibly can. I had to take mine down early last season. With 2 more weeks, yours will be premature, but you will still have a good amount of smokeable bud. If you don't like the bud, make a whole bunch of hash with it.

Did you guys pull off all the fan leaves? Looks like you should get a pretty nice harvest. Some of the best stuff I've ever grown was bag seed. I'd guess most of your plants are in about week 4 or so. What part of the country are you (if you don't mind me asking)?
