Well it was my understanding that the carbon filter that was shipped with the combo was rated spacificly for the fan that came with it. Sense my grow is only 175 cubic feet (5x5x7) should I have bought a combo rated closer to 175 instead of the 425 I purchesed?

I know your supposed to cut the bottom out when you double pot but my plastic 3 gallon pot have 12 half inch holes on the bottom and 6 1x1/2 square holes on the sides at the very bottom... you would think with all those holes you wouldn't have to cut the bottom out... I hope thats the cast...
