    Cloned a bag seed plant

Yeah, I knew the soil I was using was crap. I ran out of the other mix I was using and this is the only bag that crusted up. I was looking at transplanting it as a last chance effort

    Cloned a bag seed plant

I see your point. For all I know the flower will end up being garbage, if it ever got to flower. Might as well tend to the cuttings I know are verified good genetics.

    Cloned a bag seed plant

Would that fact that the outdoor plant of origin is getting sunlight instead of indoor light like this is now??

    Cloned a bag seed plant

That's where I'm leaning. In the picture the mystery strain is on the left and on the right is a clone that already caught up in height. The mystery strain had been growing long before the new clone rooted.

    Cloned a bag seed plant

So, I have a neighbor who tossed a seed in a pot and while the plant was in veg I took a cutting out of curiosity. He doesn't know what strain the seed came from, and I figured I'd clone the clone to sex it and find out. The clone however has stayed stumpy and no branching out during veg. I have...

    Cloning in rockwool cubes

Just a quick update. They all ended up rooting and have been happily transplant into Solo cups. Thanks again for the tips. I was ready to chuck them and start over. I have my girls Purple Punch, Godfather OG, and Wedding Cake...

    Harvest Help.

Was just curious if there was anymore cloudy to look for. The top buds have a bit more amber trichs. This close up is a lower bud.

    Harvest Help.

I agree with you there. Aside from the leaves being fried, the buds themselves did swell up and got pretty frosty. It's 10 1/2 weeks total, add my tent isn't in the best environment.

    Harvest Help.

I have no issue with leaving it the extra. Would you say it looks within the window of being ripe now?

    Harvest Help.

This is from a week ago. The leaves are far more purple and faded yellowish now and the calyxes swelled up.

    Harvest Help.

How's it going everyone?.. I'm semi new to growing and this will be my second successful harvest. My last chop maybe might have been a few days early and this time around I'd like to time it better. This is a close up of a lower flower. Any help on wether these are ready to chop would be helpful.

    Cloning in rockwool cubes

Thanks for the tips. I'll keep them all in mind moving forward with propagation.

    Cloning in rockwool cubes

Update: although the cuttings looked to be in good health, I think the small fluorescent tube I was using wasn't cutting it. I picked up a 32 watt full spectrum led, and almost instant change. All three cuttings including a fourth I added today perked right up, even more than before. The 3 first...

    Cloning in rockwool cubes

Thanks. Should I scrap these? Or give them more time since they still appear healthy? I gave them a very light tug and they felt like there's something going on in there. Hopefully they root. I did kind of squeeze them into the tray slots.. Not sure if they were squeezed too much

    Cloning in rockwool cubes

Luckily I have all three mom's to try again, but I'd hate to losing the current cuttings

    Cloning in rockwool cubes

Thanks for the response. I did fling the cubes after soak and more water drained out when I pushed them into the slots in the tray. I guess since I've only cloned in soil before and was able to see small roots poking through... I've been second guessing rockwool since I have yet to spot a root...
