Harvested the first plant just now, Alien kush. Very purple so far I am pretty happy.
Pictures will be posted in an hour or two.
I am only chopping down maybe a total of three plants for hanging today.
I don't think anyone has found a good way of producing liberty caps in a indoor enviroment. And cyanescens are a bit difficult to cultivate for a beginner.
If you are looking to cultivate cut your teeth on cubes.
Unlike different strains of pot different strains of mushroom are infact still...
No such thing as root bound?! wow.. Are you serial? super serial? 1 gallon can only support so much volume worth of roots derrrrrrr der derrr de derrrrrr
If he is getting a good pesticide for defending his plants he should probably get some thyme/clove/rosemary oil based killer as well just incase anything ends up popping up you already have it on hand.
I know it seems like everytime I find something in my garden i have to go get some...
If you have a choice between cheaper soils and do not have money to spring for something a bit more suiting I would recommend that you get supersoil brand.
I have never burned a plant with it and it was a stand by when I was a wee grower.
The set up described is sufficient to produce quality...
Or just use danky nutes on the less hot material. Thats what I do, and I get respectable results. I generally would mix my own using vermiblend compost, coir, and perlite in a 2:5:3 ratio but i have been using root organics, nuted it to start.
Yeah all I see in the pictures (the ones without the orange HPS) look like they are nuted to hell. If you save some of the run off you can do nutrient testing on it to get a good idea of what you might have oded em on specifically.
I don't think a good flush ever hurts with nutrient build up...
I think it is natural for plants to shed some leaf. If you are not ph adjusting do that. I would feed them if the leaves developed the yellow from the outer edges remaining green twoards the center/vascular bundles. That would be a nutrient deficiency.
It looks from your pictures that they...
Cubensis is the 'strain' the differences between unmutated cubensis is nominal and I fail to see any major differences.
Penis envy is an exception, it is a mutant cubensis that consistently provides different results then normal cubensis. RogerRabbit feels that penis envy almost deserves it's...
If there has been no growth since you put them in flowering a week ago I would say you are probably doing something wrong.
What are they growing in?
Have you nuted?
Are you PHing your water?
How much light are they under?
How far is the light?
Good, I always like someone who uses the world as a grow room. If you are expecting a real wet season you can cover your plant to speed up maturation.
You should probably go with indica if you prefer down rather then up.
I would recommend a good og clipping or anything that is close to a...
The plant can survive a surprisingly long time without nutrients.
Some people take weeks to clone and they take on next to no nutrients in that time.
As everyone else already said just keep it moist, it will be fine.
There is a reason cannabis is such a successful plant, its hardy as fuck. I...
Agreed, strain dependent. I have had some stinkers in my pad and have gotten whiffs from the front porch with the plants being about as far away within the house as possible. That was a small grow 5 plants. I don't think the stench would carry far and I didn't have to worry about it I lived...
Yeah pretty much all containers you use end up not being air tight. Vacuuming the air from a canning jar should result in a good seal and end up preventing any scent from coming through.
You could even get one of those cheapish plastic sealer/vacuum deals and put your shit in an autoclave bag...
