$112 seems like a lot for 80CFMs. I don't think those bathroom fans work very well with carbon filters. I had a carbon filter on one of those inline booster fans from home depot (160CFM) and it didn't work very well. Put a lot of strain on the fan and barely moved any air. Have you...

After inspecting all the outlets in the house, the only ones grounded are on the gfci in the kitchen. Most of the outlets are 3 prong but none of them are grounded (except kitchen of course). If I happen upon any pipes upstairs I'll try the gfci tester on them like mrmadcow suggested...

Just flipping through "the bible" and Jorge says greensand takes 4 years to break down. That's a lot more than the few months I said before. Even still, it must be better than plain sand especially if you reuse your mix.

I used every watering between 1/3 and 1/2 strength allowing about 1/3 runoff. Added molasses during flowering. Every strain will be different. Best to start low and increase as needed.

Yup, the pipe comes in through the stone foundation and before it hits the meter, there's a red wire attached to it which runs up to the ground strip on the breaker panel. I guess that answers the pipe ground question.

On my last grow i used nothing but PBP Soil Bloom in Light Warrior and didn't have a single problem. Light Warrior is a soiless seed starting mix.

I live in the northeast and the house I rent is over 100 years old. I don't know anything about building codes or any of that. Where would I find the water meter? Is it usually outside or in the basement?
