the amount of time it will take a plant to get to a certain size will be different with a hps and cfl's. i already have a 2 month wait for flowering alone why would i want to wait any extra in the vegging state. cfl's are good for sprouts but after 2 weeks they are screaming for more light

switch them to the hps already, fuck the cfl's. they are ready to take off the training wheels and step up to the big boy's light.

good start with the pc case. nicer one then most are using. actually have some headroom with a full atx case instead of using a mid tower. Like you said you just need something to lift the pots up and you will be golden. for sure off to a good start

most people from what i have read would say 80 degrees is ideal for temperature. really anything under 90 and above 70 i would say is perfect my humidity in my box never really goes above 70%. not really sure what is "ideal" but as long as it isnt too dry and isnt too damp you should be...
