Yeah, you're wasting tons of electricity with halos, they are not efficient. Just buy some cheap ass cfls if you are low on money. Look into getting some 68w CFL shop light from lows or home depot, they put out 4500 lumens each.

That thing is too far away from the light. Also, I can't say for certain because your pics are all out of focus, but I think that might be a male. Try taking more pics, but this time use MACRO mode on your camera, usually there will be a button with a flower on it, and that lets you take pics...

Its a metal halide bulb, its fine for vegging, but not so great for flowering. It will still work though.

Pics might help, but I'm pretty sure that you will need an ignition, I don't know of any 70w hps that have them built in, unlike MV.

Okay, this is the most recent picture, taken last night.

Okay, these are the 8 plants I've got going right now. The 3 big ones have been going since March, and the other 5 are about 2 or 3 weeks old. The triploid is still a triploid. As soon as I finish my veg box, I'm going to start pulling clones and flowering.
