Those 2 things sticking out at every node will turn into new growth if you top or anything, they're just waiting for their chance to grow. Every mj plant has them at every node. The preflowers will pop out between those and the growth of the flower branch above the fan leaf they're attached to.

That is way too early for preflowers when growing from seed.

I think flat white is supposed to be much better than glossy. As far as the fan goes, I would have a passive intake and use the fan for exhaust.
